We did our first disengagement letter ever this week which followed your format – it was full of gratitude & kindness (tardy/lazy/late client). Felt really good 👌.

Letting go of clients isn’t easy but with my Client Sacking / Request to Move on letter, it’s a little less daunting and can actually be quite liberating and empowering.
There are many reasons why a practice owner may want to move a client on, and I believe irrespective of that reason, this should be done professionally, empathetically and should not burn any bridges.
I used this very letter in my practice and now my clients and so many in the industry are using it with great success. I’ve also included 5 of the most common reasons that you can use as is or tweak.
This letter can be used as part of a bulk practice reset or on an ad hoc basis as a need arises.
Life’s too short to have clients that zap your energy, cost you money, cause you stress and snatch your freedom.

I sent your sacking letter today to a few clients and it felt so liberating! That followed wasted hours of procrastination this morning. Next time around I’ll be sending that letter without hesitation.

I used Amanda’s client sacking template – made the job so much easier!
