Save time and shop online …..

The benefits of shopping on line certainly saves you time running around, it can save you dollars as it is much quicker searching the net for deals and it forces you to be organised! One Christmas all my son wanted was Spongebob Squarepants Lego, available on ebay but it had to come from the US. That was great, I purchased it early to ensure delivery and it arrived in plenty of time.

Ever since my boys were in primary school have been making their Santa/Christmas Wish List very user friendly – they search the internet for the best deals and then provide me with the appropriate links. It’s worth double checking prices but this exercise not only saves you time but teaches your children a valuable money lesson. I usually give mine a rough budget and it is in their interests to source the best deals as they might be able to get one or two extra things in their stocking and surprisingly they utilise this practice all year round now! I’ve just come back from a trip to Hawaii and I had very comprehensive wish lists complete with photos, colours and sizing.
